Corporate New Year Gifts: Be Remembered with a Work of Art
A New Year gift clients and staff will remember: original prints, small paintings and logo tufting. Budget, quantities, timing and how ordering works.
Updated:

If you are choosing art as a corporate New Year gift, the rule is: fewer, but lasting. A unique original work for a handful of key clients or partners, smaller pieces for a wider list, and a logo tufting if you want your brand on the wall. The right time to decide and order is early November; the calendar for handmade work gets tight in December.
Every December the same catalogue lands on company desks: planners, flasks, mugs, power banks. All useful, all with a logo. The problem is that a client receives five similar parcels from five different suppliers out of that same catalogue in the same week. Below I explain who might get what, how to set the budget and how to read the calendar if you are considering art as a corporate gift.
Why art as a corporate gift?#
A planner and a mug both have a lifespan. The planner goes on a shelf when the year ends; the mug moves to the back of a kitchen cupboard within months. There is nothing wrong with that. Most corporate gifts are meant as a short reminder anyway.
A work of art works differently. It goes on a wall and stays there for years. A print in a client's office, meeting room or hallway at home may not announce who sent it every time someone looks at it, but when someone asks, the story gets told. It is hard to do better than that with a corporate gift.
I will not overstate it: art does not suit every list. For a distribution to hundreds of people, handmade work is the wrong tool, because each piece is made individually. This article is for the limited number of people at the top of the list.
Who gets what: clients, partners, staff#
- A key client or long-standing partner: a unique original work. Here the value of the relationship sets the weight of the gift. A mid-size canvas or a work on paper can go to their office or their home.
- A board, advisers, a small team: prints on paper or small paintings. Light, easy to carry, and the recipient chooses the frame.
- Staff: here a shared piece may mean more than individual works. A wall hanging for the office entrance or a common area becomes a New Year gift everyone sees every day. I covered tufting for workspaces in logo tufting rugs for offices and cafés.
- A personal thank you to one person: the logic of a private gift applies, and the suggestions in handmade New Year gifts fit here too.
One caution: rules are strict for contacts who work in public institutions. What public servants may accept as a gift is limited by ethics rules, so if such people are on your list, check their institution's policy first. The same question applies to teachers, which I touched on in Teachers' Day gifts.
Quantities and budget#
It makes more sense to build the budget in tiers than as one amount per person. The examples below use gallery prices on 25 October 2026, the day this article was published; prices and availability can change, and the current details are on each work's page.
Tier one: prints
Gourds (Kabaklar), multi-colour linocut on paper, 50x70 cm, 2,000 TL. Nefertiti, etching, 35x50 cm, 3,000 TL. Works on paper are light, ship easily and fit above a desk or along a corridor.
Tier two: small and mid-size paintings
Eş Çorap (Matching Socks), acrylic on canvas, 60x70 cm, 5,000 TL. The other acrylic canvases in the gallery range from 60x70 cm to 100x80 cm and from 7,000 to 15,000 TL. All are on the painting page.
Tier three: tufting and larger pieces
The tufted wall hangings in the gallery measure between 60x90 cm and 95x110 cm, priced from 6,000 to 12,500 TL. If you want a piece made to size and design for an office entrance or meeting room, the price depends on size, technique and level of detail; the calculator on the custom order page gives a range straight away.
On quantities I need to be honest. Every work in the gallery is unique. There are not ten of the same painting; if you are giving gifts to ten people, you are choosing ten different works. That is actually an advantage (each recipient gets a piece of their own), but it means choosing in time. If you want similar pieces for several people, ask through the contact page how many are possible and on what timeline before anything else. I cannot promise mass production; handmade work has its own pace.
Logo or brand-specific work#
A logo tufting works well as something a company puts in its own space: the wall behind reception, a meeting room, a shop entrance. As a gift to a client, though, a piece that puts your logo front and centre can feel like hanging your advert on their wall. For gifts going outside the company it is more graceful to keep the brand on the card that comes with the work, not in the work itself.
Logo tufting also has technical limits:
- Fine lines disappear. In cut pile, lines thinner than about 1 cm become unreadable because the cut tips fall sideways; in loop pile a 5 mm line can stay legible.
- Thin serif typefaces and small slogans do not come out clearly in tufting. A simplified version of the logo may be needed.
- Keeping the number of colours down gives a cleaner result; gradients turn into stepped tones in yarn.
I went into detail in name and logo rugs. To find out whether your logo suits tufting before ordering, send the file through the custom order form. Other tufted pieces are on the tufting page.
Timing: working back from New Year#
Corporate gifting runs on a tighter calendar than personal gifting, because purchase approval, budget lines and sometimes several people's opinions get in the way.
Finished works ship within one to three business days of payment. So if you are choosing from the gallery, mid-December is technically possible. But December is busy for carriers too, and with unique works there is always a chance another buyer gets there first. Choosing in November is safer.
For commissions the estimated production time depends on size and technique and is given in writing before the order is confirmed. Delivery never exceeds 30 days. Add the days for design approval and shipping, count back from 31 December, and the decision date lands in early November. After mid-November time for a commission gets short. The full terms are on the delivery and returns page.
A practical sequence might look like this:
- End of October: the list and tiers are settled, and everyone is assigned a tier.
- First week of November: finished works are chosen and the commission request goes in.
- Mid-November: design approval.
- First half of December: delivery and distribution.
Invoicing, packaging and shipping#
On packaging, the practice stated on the site is that large tufted pieces are rolled or protected with hard corner guards. What matters on an artwork's journey through the post is covered in packing art for shipping. Delivery costs are paid by the buyer unless the order summary says otherwise.
Questions specific to corporate orders, such as the type of invoice, delivery to several addresses or gift cards, should go through the contact page before you order. If the first message includes the company name, tax details and how many separate addresses are involved, it usually gets settled in a single exchange.
For the few people at the top of your list, start with finished works in the gallery; for a piece specific to your brand, start on the custom order page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is an invoice issued for corporate orders?
For corporate orders, settle the type of invoice and the document that can be issued before ordering. Send your company name and tax details through the contact page and get a written answer on what is possible before you commit.
How many logo tufting pieces can be made?
Each piece is made individually by hand, so the number depends on size and schedule; this is not mass production. Send the quantity, size and delivery date you need through the contact page and find out before ordering whether it is feasible.
Can gifts be sent to several addresses?
Please ask through the contact page before ordering. If you state how many addresses and the delivery date in your first message, the shipping plan and costs can be settled from the start.
What is the latest date to order for New Year?
Early November for commissions. Production time depends on size and technique and is given in writing before ordering, with delivery within 30 days; once design approval and shipping are added, anything after mid-November is risky. Finished works ship within one to three business days of payment, so later is possible, but since each is unique it is safer to choose in November.
