The Story

The warmth of an old family photograph is brought back to life through the endless shades of blue. The fluid, spontaneous washes of watercolor evoke the blurred nature of memory, while the delicate ink lines reveal the faces of recollections as they gradually come into focus. A fragment of childhood preserved in memory... Rather than reconstructing the past as it was, this work seeks to make visible the way memory reshapes and transforms it.
