Tips from the Studio: What Can You Use to Make a Collage?

Old Magazine and Book Pages: Retro imagery, typography, and textured papers make excellent foundations for a collage. Handmade Papers and Packaging: Papers with different weights and textures can add depth to your work. Fabric and Thread Scraps: A great choice for creating a tactile, dimensional quality. Paints and Drawings: You don’t have to limit your collage to paper. Adding touches of watercolor or oil pastel can transform your work into a mixed-media piece.
